Custom Page Configuration

In response to the needs of developers using Theme Editor, our latest release introduces groundbreaking features in Jetfire and fdk-Cli, enabling seamless integration of custom page-level configurations directly within the Theme Editor environment. Prior to this update, developers faced the challenge of manually configuring settings for custom pages in the setting_data.json file, unlike system pages which had dedicated configuration settings.
The new <setting> tag facilitates developers in specifying custom page settings directly in code, mirroring the process for system pages. This eliminates the need for creating global configurations, streamlining the development workflow. The Platform Panel now allows developers to effortlessly edit custom page settings within the Theme Editor, promoting a more intuitive and efficient user experience.
Furthermore, the release incorporates a dropdown menu featuring custom template pages, providing developers with easy access to change setting configurations within the hierarchy of custom pages. The updated FDK-CLI version 2.4.6 now stores custom page settings in the database, enhancing data management and retrieval processes.
Visit our FDK CLI Change Log for a comprehensive overview of the release, including improved handling of invalid settings JSON, the removal of https dependencies, and the exclusion of email and phone numbers from test cases mock data. This update reflects our commitment to enhancing the development process and empowering developers with more intuitive tools and features.
